Rosemary Assisi

A graduate of both Queen of Peace Elementary School and Queen of Peace High School.

Bachelor of Art in Early Childhood Education and English from Jersey City State College.

Received a certificate in Religious studies in 1987 from the Archdiocese of Newark.

Taught at St. Mary's Elementary School in Rutherford and presently at Queen of Peace Elementary School. Experience in teaching Pre-K 3, Pr-K 4,-Kindergarten, Second Grade and currently First Grade.

Involved and dedicated to the parish. A CCD Parish Catechist, Eucharistic Minister, Queen of Peace School's Mission Coordinator, and hold the office of Financial Secretary for the Holy Rosary Society at Queen of Peace Church Honored in May 2008 the award of

Philosophy of Education

I believe that school should be a happy place where students learn to love and appreciate learning. My role as a teacher is to teach the students entrusted to me not only to reading, writing and math, but also about the love of God.
