Ms. M.G.Cherry

I am proud to be the newest faculty member at QPGS. I have been teaching in Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Newark for 15 years. This is my second year working with the middle school students at Queen of Peace. I am currently teaching Language Arts and Social Studies to the sixth graders. I am a graduate of The College of St. Elizabeth and hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Middle school Language Arts has been my specialty for the past 11 years.

I believe that every child has the right to an unbiased education.

Each year I try to develop new, fun and interesting ways to engage all of my students in daily lessons. I love to see the children in my classroom grow mentally as well as spiritually as the year progresses. I believe that a child should love to learn while learning to love. I think our school is the perfect place for a child to grow in love, knowledge and self-respect.
