Kathleen Ferrara is beginning her 14th year as the art teacher at Queen of Peace Elementary School. She is a graduate of Wayne Bills High School and holds a Fine arts degree from Montclair State. A North Arlington resident for 28 years, her husband and 3 daughters are all graduates of both Queen of Peace Elementary School and Queen of Peace High School. When not at Queen of Peace, Mrs. Ferrara also teaches art at Sacred Heart School in Lyndhurst.

The goal of the Art Department at Queen of Peace Elementary School is to help students be creative and inventive decision makers and to build their confidence to undertake new tasks.
