Ms. Nancy O'Keefe

Ms. O'Keefe is presently the fourth grade teacher at Queen of Peace Elementary School. She has been working within the Archdiocese of Newark since her graduation from Felician College in 1997 with a BA in Mathematics/Elementary Education when she taught at St. Mary's in Rutherford, NJ.

Then, in September of2001, Ms. O'Keefe began teaching here at QP in the 5th grade. This year, Ms. O'Keefe is eagerly looking forward to an exciting and fun-filled journey oflearning to take her 4th graders! She believes that all students can learn, and that everyone has their own uniqueness and individuality that make them special, but which also adds to the personality and atmosphere of the class. Each school year, she hopes to build a classroom environment where all people are willing to help each other if they are able. Additionally, academics like reading and writing are not the only important subjects to discuss and reinforce, but also faith and spirituality, as well as morals and values. These are the essentials of a Catholic School education.
