QP Troop #125

Troop #125 visited the Lambert Castle Museum, Garret Mountain, Paterson NJ
Built in 1892 by Catholina Lambert, he left his home in
England at 17, and
came to
America where he made his fortune in the silk industry. His castle was
built to showcase his elaborate art collection of European and American
paintings and sculptures.  Today the castle is the headquarters of the
Passaic County Historical Society.  Girls were also assisted with a guided
tour, by Lambert's grand-daughter, Mrs. Spellinger-Lambert.

Jr. Troop #125 hosted Town Event - GS Family Luncheon at Michael's on Sunday,
Feb. 24th.  Our girls were "DJ's" for the afternoon, and took requests from
younger scouts.  Several troops donated beautiful and creative baskets for door
prize raffles. Good job girls!!
