LYNDSEY FOSTER, President

Hey, My name is Lyndsey Foster!!!

I have been going to Queen of Peace since PreK-3 and I really like it! I participate in many sports at QP such as Varsity Cheering and Track. Outside of school, I’m also a gymnast. I have made so many friends that I will never forget!

My i-pod is pretty much my life but I also love hanging out with my friends! I’m really looking forward to being part of the Student Council this year and making it one that the Class of ’08 will never forget!

MEGAN BOYLE, Vice President

Hello! My name is Megan Boyle!

I am 12 years old. This will be my second year at QP. I am also looking forward to going to Queen of Peace High School. I have one older brother; his name is Tony. I am a cheerleader on the varsity competition cheering team.

I think that I have a bubbly and energetic personality. My favorite subjects in school are Science, Math, Gym and Art. I was so excited when I found out that I won the position of 2^nd Vice President.

I want to say thank you to all those who voted for me. I want to thank my teachers and especially my mom and Mrs DeRogatis for giving me the courage to run in this election.

NOELLE GIBSON, Secretary

Hello, my name is Noelle Gibson!!

I am 13 years old. I have been attending Queen of Peace for 9 years and I really enjoy it here. I plan on going to Queen of Peace High School as well. I have two loving parents: Britton and Mark; four stepbrothers and sisters: Tyler, Jake, Sydnee, and Sierra; and two cats, Brooke and Oreo.

I participate in cheering, track and field, and gymnastics. I have a lot of close friends like: Lyndsey, Jessica, Brianna, Tiffany, Lauren, Rachel, Erica, Chris, Breanna and many more. My favorite subjects are: Science, Social Studies, and Math.

I am looking forward to this new school year. Thanks again for electing me as your secretary. I promise to fulfill my duties!!

DYLAN YOUNG, Treasurer

I was born in Hoboken, New Jersey on May 13, 1994 and currently reside in Lyndhurst. Prior to coming to Queen of Peace as a Fourth Grade student, I attended Our Lady of the Lake in Verona. I am an honor student. In Fifth Grade I was one of the recipients of a D.A.R.E. medal for my speech. For the past two summers I have attended camp at Montclair State University where I took courses in Algebra, Astronomy, Phys Ed and Cooking. Last spring I was a member of the QP track team. I have also participated in town recreational sports programs including basketball and baseball. I also enjoy riding on my skateboard and gaming.

I am an avid music fan. When I am not in school, I study and play my acoustic guitar (I’m looking forward to getting an electric guitar soon). This past summer I attended a music festival in Baltimore. As part of the trip, I sang a karaoke song at Maryland MacDonald’s where my picture is still on the wall.

I am the proud “big brother” of three pets---two cats (Dominick and Theresa) and one dog (Deva). I am looking forward to fulfilling my commitment as Student Council Treasurer and being a part of the QP student government team!
