AUTOBIOGRAPHY by TERRI

MS TERRI SUCHOCKI earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Jersey City State College (New Jersey City University).

She has taught most grade levels in her 40 year teaching career. She began in Seventh Grade at Saint Anthony in Jersey City for one year. Then, she moved to Second Grade in Immaculate Conception in Secaucus for one year; then, First Grade for six years.

After leaving Catholic School, Miss Terri went to Clarendon School in Secaucus as a Title I Reading teacher for one and a half years; then, she was assigned First Grade for six years. She left public education to open her own day care business in Somerset County where she remained for fifteen years. In 2000, she sold her business and was employed at Sylvan Early Childhood Program in Passaic for one and a half years.

She returned to Catholic education as principal in Garfield Catholic Academy for three years and now as principal of Queen of Peace Elementary School for five years.
